I was heading home on my own after hanging out at Nick's today and insisted he sends me no further than the traffic junction so he can rest before burning Saturday working again. I requested, no, implored that he sleep first.
He uttered, "I will wait for you to get home first."
"Oh cos' of the robbery? If I'm really robbed there's nothing you can do about it.", I shrugged, conscious of the truth behind my statement.
He simply stated "I can call the police."
I had a good laugh at his cool joke.
What a silly boyfriend.
