In loving memory of 2010

The year is closing in a couple more days. I half wished for this year to be over so I can quickly embrace the next one as a woman with grand plans.

Paying a special tribute to 2010 as the year I met my Mr. Perfect, during a time when I was convinced perfect was an elusive term.

This year is quite something. There were hits and misses in equal parts. I have gained and lost someone close to my heart.

There will never be a good time to let someone know how much you love them so this year is a great reminder. I am done grieving.

And just because I am feeling extra morbid tonight, I wish my loved ones will celebrate the life I had led and not the ones I have lost, when the time comes.

Ever a great man, always a great uncle. Of all the wonderful memories you have left behind, you have touched my life as you have others. I have learned to embrace life as you have. You will always be missed, Uncle Ben.

Happy Boxing Day

Nothing beats having an old school meal with your family on Boxing Day ♥

For Christmas, I bought a Crumbler bag for Nick :) Hope he adores it!

On the eve of Christmas

It was half day at work but really, who will have a working mind on Christmas Eve?

The Marketing Division had other plans to party and make merry till the clock strikes 12.

When night fell, Nick brought me to a quaint Italian place, Casa Verde, at Botanical Gardens. Casa Verde means 'Green House' in Italian and is part of the Les Amis Group. Apart from the ambientic lush greenery, the food was excellent!

The minestrone was heavenly, tasty and full of flavour.

Pizza with ham and mushroom with a layer of mozzarella cheese on thin crust was superb.

3 pieces of spiced up succulent Jumbo prawns cost less than the infamous Newton Hawker charges. They were so good I had them all by myself! :P

*makes a classy burp*

Homemade tiramisu was light and the base was a lil runny, which was perfect.

The ambience was serene and there were lots of greenery to look at.

Hardworking chefs.

Then Christmas kicked in at KPO :)

This year, I have lots of thanks to give for all the blessings I have received. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all who have been a major part of my life.

Something decent

I haven't loaded such high resolution pictures in a long while. This is the first time in a while I actually sat down and wait. Why wait? Loading these pictures from my computer made me realized how long it took to load those photos in the past. These days the only photos I upload on this blog are on-the-go from my iPhone.

I'm so happy this camera has the soft skin function which is to die for!

More good quality photos that pleases the eye...

One of the installation I'm working on currently is a huge floating jukebox that lights up and changes colours. It's called Emocube. Be sure to catch it at The Cathay, Level 1 from 30 December onwards.

Looking mighty stunning

Ramen cravings.

Guess who went for the spicy kill? :)

With flash, oops.

Without, :)

We did something fun at work today! We decorated our marketing head's cube to surprise her when she's back from her leave tomorrow. Actually, we were hoping to win at least an individual best decorated cube award. Haha.

Frosted up the panels outside my cubby hole - I'm one of those last minute decorator that tries too hard to fit into the festive mood. Though I really like my 3D-looking snowman.

My marketing head's desk looks like a picnic house now. Oh boy, she'd be so proud. Haha.

Our Happiness billboard is ever changing.

The babes and I, with our "campaign vices" mocking it up!

I'm holding a cookie jar cos my so-called vice is binge (drinking).

Tomorrow is THE DAY.

Have a Merry Christmas one and all!
