Manifesting chill passive nurturing

Parenting is an art and science, much like the metamorphosis of life. So many versions to adopt from and constantly learning something different, chucking ideas aside when it didn't work, and exploring new plans.

Hard work fo'sure but super rewarding when everything lines up.

I'm working on my reaction, less is more.

This dyad was gathering flowers to show dad when the vase holding the flowers slipped from her but she caught the flowers by a stroke of luck.

The mum's reaction was super cool.
Yeah it happens indeed.

I have watched videos of this nature multiple times and it's very inspiring. Growing up I've never quite gotten into trouble for accidents like these. My mum doesn't shout or yell but she'll low key stew and chastised my clumsiness or mistakes, while fixing it, eventually softening up amidst my sorrys and telling me to be more careful next time. As a young child, I was fully impacted by her mild reaction as I expected to be scolded and more. I want to go one step further and embrace accidents with grace and love. I can tell you it's not easy as I am mostly reactive, not passive by any means.

But I want my kids to know they can make mistakes and I'll still love them.

The meaning of life

"The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple."

Progress = Busyness. We crave progression and in turn, sacrifice our sanity for the sake of being busy, thinking we are one step closer to success. Are we really successful? Define that according to how you see yourself versus how others see you. If they're the same version, then congratulations, you have successfully mimick the very definition of success.

At the very core of our existence, we all want to feel alive. What does that mean to you? Take a moment to think about it.

There was a brief period in my life when I wanted to be unforgettable. To be unforgettable is to be alive. To live in the memories of others. Ahh this was a phase in my past when I was single and free and wanted to achieve something small for myself so I could pat myself on my back.

I was a talker, I thought as I spoke and clarified along the way. Life was much simpler. Not holding back on my words, and thus my passion. I was smooth and had presence but something was missing.

After my sister's death, I've turned into a thinker, withdrawing from people and moving away from their lives and turning inwards. I became cautious and uneasy. Life did not become simpler as such, as I was grieving. But I made alot of progress in my personal development that I believe contributed to my growth as a parent/friend/daughter as well as that of my family, my chosen people.

Life has meaning, and I have a lot of successes in my daily going ons, something I can be proud of and it fills me with unbridled joy. Charmingly simple. Not unheard of. Just different.

At 42 years old, life has just begun.
