stalled at the age when you could hurt me most

as far as i can remember, i had always been on extreme ends of the spectrum. i dont do like. either i love it or i hate it. i was brought up to be strong that way.

recently, i found myself clinging on to things that aren't there anymore. without realizing, we've already left that place and time and stepped foot into another.

it never lasts long or feels real enough. perhaps, it was something we've been waiting for that never came to exist.

standing at the crossroads where i am now, the moment of truth appears. where universes collide, do i wait for what i want, to collide with what i've lived?

what are my chances anyways?

for what it's worth, i've not forgotten how it feels like to love and be loved.

still, i sink a lil deeper each time love found me. i watch myself go just a lil bit further. until there's nothing left but suffocation.

how many of us ever realize how stuck in the past we really are...

sighs.

time flies

its gonna be my 1 year anniversary at the workpad mid march. through a conversation with aaron, the ex-intern, i was reminded of how time just disappears.

currently in my ipod is part of a song by Clay Aiken (On My Way Here) which i really like:

On my way here
Where I am now
I've learned to fly
I have to want to leave the ground
I've fallen hard
But I've been loved
And in the end it all works out
My faith has conquered fear
On my way here

really really apt song for how im feeling tonight.

caught 3 movies within a month. not a bad count going by my standard.

just to recap, benjamin button has witty humour and dialogues but disappointingly predictable in its ending. brad and cate was quite the pulling factor. at least they made it less painful to watch.

slumdog millionnaire has really good storyline but lacks depth. i also feel like im watching a live who wants to be a millionnaire "thug" version. people actually applauded when the credits rolled. i was so stunned i had to verify with cat.

marley and me is very much a family flick. not to sound cheesy, it does make me want a marley for myself. it's a happy movie. definitely not for the restless. pretty darn draggy.

i've been having dry cough. thought it might be some virus circulating till i realized i've been offered chocolates of the dark variety by my coworker a little too often. obviously i accepted with glee. =P

time for bed! im bushed.

happy feet

what a difference a day makes. nothing beats a worse day for me than yesterday. today saw a turn of luck!

yesterday, i had to fix something which wasnt mine to begin with. i had it fixed well but at the expense of my pending and pressing issues. the woe was all mine.

well, today was for a lack of a more meaningful word, simply wonderful. everything went as planned. right down to the pedicure therapy. it was already rather late and i had been busy the entire day only to finish work at 8ish. but i was glad i managed to get my nails done in time for..nothing actually! just thought of recharging my poor feet and keeping it happy for all that tiring (at times) but purposeful life journey i still have to trudge on for at least the next 50 years (i hope).

i love feeling so light on my feet :) i feel like i can capture and conquer anything i want. alright thats stretching a bit too far but you get the drift, huh?

so, yesterday's massage was had in JB. it was so worth it after battling the causeway jam for almost an hour. hence to compensate for the time the jam had cost us, we went for the 2 hours package. it was also the first time i fell asleep during any massage. really refreshing. heard from gid and later ericia herself that she wanted to come along. you should really dear, except that you were tired and never thought much of massages. next time please join us (if your parents allow)! would have love your company :)

as you can already tell, im all out to relax this festive season. im not needed to go back to work till tuesday so i smell long weekends with lots of rest. felt like it was what i've been working so hard for especially after my small promotion. alright, maybe not hard enough as i'd have liked but i do have a need to store all these reserve energy for next year's agenda (which is endless but lets not go there. plus i dont think i want to bore you with the details of my work).

about my nails, i have them painted french style in shiny grape jam (as i'd like to call it). its so festive and im so happy :)

im nearing home in a while. cant wait to light my vaporiser with something soothing and tuck myself into bed on this chilly night. can you believe how tired i am? i guess you could :)
