Caught up with Ying and Daffy over the weekend for brunch. :) Ying wanted to do Inagiku at Fairmount Hotel for her birthday so we went. I mean, we finally went. It was a long time ago that Ying wanted to take us there for a meal. Two years has whizzed by since then.

My lunch set was of the much raved about succulent prawns with heavenly golden sauce by dearest Ying, accompanied with fragrant garlic rice, and a ever tender medium rare slab of Australian beef.

We all had happy updates to share around the table but Ying had the most joyous news of all. She was positively beaming when she announced about her water baptism next Sunday which Daffy and I had already made plans to witness our best friend's finest moment. :)
The following evening was spent celebrating Nick's dad's birthday at the family-oriented Sangokai Japanese Restaurant along Upper Thomson Rd.
Freshness oozed from the palate.

Tried their signature Curry Cheese Baked Udon and I sincerely love it so much!

With my cute-as-a-button gorgeous in pink boyfriend.

If only the weekend was a lil bit longer. How I missed it already.
Hope you guys had a splendid week too!
