erratic weather

we tottered on into the silent morning of yesterday. the weather was too humid. the cotton lining of my white boho skirt clung stickily to my outer thigh. it was a long breeze-less walk. warm as it may sound, wearied as i could be, it was comfortable. i was in good company. the red and dark star-less morning sky blanketed above, threatening rain.

sometimes we shared stories we heard of the towering buildings - takashimaya, paragon, even hyatt - surrounding the three of us. (i was with cia and josh.) most times, we trudged in perfect silence, acutely aware of the peace the morning brought. well, for me, at least.

eventually, we reached our destination. an hour or so dawdled by before the weather became unbearable.

this afternoon, it rained relentlessly.

if only tonight was friday again. the weekend was such a blur.
