down time (literally)

i'm down with exhaustion, quite expectedly so. my body temperature's running pretty high. i could almost feel the warmth spreading to the pits of the stomach. i don't feel too good. hpy vinz even quipped to the tune of how i'm not the female version of bumblebee, which lit up a smile on my face. (prior to which he told me to rest.)

well, i'm doing that right now.

the weekend was pretty tiring but lovely.

5AM: oya at his best on a sunday morning

i've finished the last pages of The Last Concubine. never a history kid, japanese history overwhelmed me in this book. the book's a great leisurely read for anyone clueless to the background of old japan. i can't wait to pass this book around. anyway, i ventured with great hope into the bookstore after i took a half day break from work, wishing to pick up a good read. my ears were jarring from the sounds of music from my player and i lost the attention i paid to a book i held in my hand.
