finally had a chance to check out the ambiance at Giraffe Restaurant & Bar.
we had a nice huge comfy couch seats all to ourselves and the soft lighting was perfect for having heart to heart talks. the music was jazzy and playing softly in the background.
i love the scenic view overlooking the greenery in the dark cityscape.
perfect for chilling out with a companion you haven't seen in ages.
she had ribeye and tiramisu.
the girl gotta have her tiramisu. and i love the effort they put in adding a festive mood to the cake.

we had teas.
i have a thing for teas these days compared to the past where a glass of red was my constant preference. i cant recall when but i just decided to go off alcohol for a while.
anya is the second person to tell me that sweet desserts are a sure cure for days of depression. manda was the first. i still remembered. =)
i thoroughly enjoyed the quaint lil dinner & heartfelt catching up sesh.
she updated me about her trip to japan and made a sudden sombre remark on the importance and advantage of enjoying a travel experience with a life partner. that carved a deep impact on me and i made a mental note to self to explore the vast possibilities of touring overseas with a future partner - something which i've never done before.
she's still as lovely looking and always pleasant to have around.
spotted boon chong and made our way home together.
aww i really miss the taurus clan!
