life's lil pleasures

i bought my first pair of wedges. pearl ivory white with round toe. and sky high. i didn't think i'd like it initially but rowena was pro-wedges and advised me to get it. peiqi thought i look better in wedges compared to the other stiletoes i had on the other foot. likewise for the opinion of a male company - that'd be bx. i thought why not? since i don't have one. i love heels. but i can't walk a mile in it.

i also bought a nice lil black clutch on the side.
so vintage.

i had another fab night with the motley crew; anderson gang + row + cherie. made plans to meet row & bx to work out tomorrow evening. gotta really work out like mad cos i'm training up for the trekking trip to mount ophir with tl, coreen and terence which is coming up in jan.

met anya & firuz outside the cathay and promised to catch up with each other soon.

the gist of the story goes that bx had no clue of a warm fuzzy (warm cos we thought the pizza would be served piping hot and fuzzy cos we really wanted to make it oh-so-special for him) dinner was awaiting his arrival. he didn't had a clue that we were gonna be springing this surprise on him. but as usual, every surprises have their minor screwups and bx suspected something fishy but went along all the same. anyway, i bet he had no clue that we had a plan in the making the whole time! rowena had to coordinate really well with us making sure that everything goes according to plan. and more importantly, she mustn't bring him to the restaurant before full force arrived! that was the hardest part, trying to match THE time with everyone's schedules.

we were actually enjoying our dinner inside the restaurant (pizza hut) and one by one, each of us came up with excuses to leave the table to present him the cake which katt & jr got on their way before joining us.

he was standing at the cashier (sneaky fellow wanted to pay for the meal) when we wanted to surprise him from the back and we were all stunned by his appearance! nevertheless, he was really touched (i think).

had a stayover at bx's house and another night of fun catching up on the latest gossips!

ps: had a very indulgent hearty chat with the dearest girls from SIM over the course of the day- Ericia and Vivien. =)
