a pared down weekend

granted, we did an impromptu zouk night on saturday but relegated ourselves to winebar. did i mention it was really chillo? because it was 1-for-1, we had 12 apple sour shooters, 6 jagarmeister shooters, 2 vod/OJ jugs, 6 lychee martinis and a couple of other drinks.

met new friends (almost nothing new) in our intoxicated stupor. somebody guessed (wrongly but appreciatively) that i was a yoga instructor. nice try :)

developed a massive migraine due to clipping all my hair up into a giant (read: heavy) ponytail. i had to let the hair down literally. went in search of panadol but ended up chuppa chupping our way to zouk in the cab.

jested tonnes while in the cab and my favourite part was cia's joke of the day - what do you call a crippled prawn? (answer will be up tonight) okay i know i need help but it was hilarious!

migraine eased off :)

but it came back after the shooters and i thought i was going to die :(

law was the sweetest. he got his friend to bring panadol from home. panadol didnt come. however something traumatic happened. guilt and apologies aplenty.

i suppose everyone is at most two degrees away from knowing somebody's friend or something. because the new friends' friend happened to be someone law knows from wakeboarding. the smallness of singapore eh?

thus concludes the night - cia had fun making new friends, law had fun crapping with new friends and i had fun joining in and watching them in their silly antics. given, i was sober. the fun of being sober lies in knowing when you did what. it's a long standing social skill alright? hahaha.

we had a really loved up night. great nights should be made like this :)

pps the japanese musical play we caught call, Shut Up, Play! was really good. i was embarrassingly involved in a minor performance but thankfully i didnt cringe watching myself perform in the videos. i just received the videos from law and will post it up tonight as well.
