heavy air lined with laser beams and loud thumping music and a strong bass.
zoee and myself amidst the trance crowd.
a hired Caucasian poi performer twirling neon glowy props. it is traditionally done with fire where 2 long wicks are utilized and the performer entertains with a dance and twirling of the wicks. also called fire twirlers. some trance lovers i know perform this sometimes.
the first night saw zoee and myself alone at the gig where we met up with jason muthu, alvin sung and even denny & brenda. second night was the bomb, a blast. but photos are still with zoee as im typing this.
we put up at benny's place on the first night and on the second afternoon, he brought us to try his fave beef noodles when we were moving along to Port Dickson for the resort check-in (they paid for second night of the gig).
very tasty indeed. the noodles are not the same ones we have in SG and the taste's really special with minced beef sauce mixed in for extra flavour. really different from what we have in SG.
benny and zoee digged in without a prompt.
in the States, they have Dunkin' Donuts.
in Malaysia, they have Big Apple.
according to benny, they taste even better than Dunkin' Donuts and being a mega fan of donuts, i had to try it. and so, he drove us to The Curve.
benny paying up for the purchase.
zoee and myself.
the box of delight.
clockwise from left: peanut butter chocolate, oreo crumbs, plain with melted chocolate inside, chocolate shavings, pink panther, peanut butter chocolate (again).
benny forewarned i will need napkins for this and i gobbled up the peanut butter one whilst the chocolate oozes out... heavenly!
as for it being better than Dunkin'?
you bet it is. =)
