I chose to spend my 30th on an island near home. In contrast to the places I've been to, it's an unusual choice this year. Batam has its charm (and it's cheap). This trip signifies a simplicity in my life that I long to have. 

It's a first, travelling and rooming with Alina. I like how she complements me in the family. Xx
