a sunday without sun

i love sundays and i absolutely love the sun. but its been raining for the past few days and its irking me tremendously. i feel so cold even indoor that when i get outdoor, i thought of stepping back in again. in the end, i didnt even leave my house.

on a good note, ive been in decently cheerful mood. four months into taking D-35 and its finally paying off. i see improvement in my skin and its no longer as bumpy as before. in fact, its beginning to glow - okay maybe its also due to my tan fading off. no wait. what tan?? i dont have one anymore - and radiates. joy is me. skin improvement is everything to rave about in my case.

some marks are still there though. ive been taking this super expensive collagen drink that will eventually take care of the scars - given that as i grow older, my collagen production decreases. its not like in the past where i can have a huge pustule that scars but disappears as fast as it had happened. whoever said good skin lasts forever? well, not to me anyway.

i attended a work-related yoga conference recently and here's a clip to illustrate:

video

the yoga master in question is a fellow colleague who has helped me with my breathing problems since attending his yoga classes. he was an instant hit at the conference.

dined at sakura a coupla days ago with ericia. it was the same restaurant which we celebrated terence's birthday earlier this may.

my tom yum fried rice which tasted pretty alright but at $5nett, it didnt look all that presentable to me.

taking a mirror image shot when ericia walked away for a while. evidence of a rainy day with ericia's brolly hanging off the edge of our table.

ericia's crispy mee with prawns and fish pieces. i love this dish! its only $4. bernita had this dish when we celebrated terence's birthday.

the famous must-have dish. crispy chicken with thai chilly sauce. crunchy even after we attack it at the end of our entree. $8.

i took ericia along for aromatherapy at this Body Wellness place located at Stamford Court and while she didnt quite enjoy her session, i thought my therapist was great. i did my spa research while i was there too.

i had a great day despite the rain and should really bid good night for now.

GG

i finally caught up on the first season of Gossip Girl. now that im done watching it, i dont wonder to myself anymore why everyone's so hyped up about the second season even though it's not even out yet in the US of A.

for the record, i am beginning to find chuck fascinating. not totally unexpected given his bad boy charm. however, im neither into blair nor serena. rather, i watch out for lily (serena's beauty of a mom). i think she's really classy and i never get bored of admiring her melon seed face. i noticed serena got less attractive as the episode progresses on and blair appears chubbier towards the last few episodes, especially so after her secrets were revealed by GG.

overall a fun and captivating first season. i sure hope the second season will not disappoint.

brr. weather's cold. time to slide under the sheets.
